Our fees and payment plans
The needs and wants of each patient are different and so we endeavour to find the most cost effective way to meet those needs. For this reason there is no set fee for orthodontic treatment.
What will affect your fee?
– How comprehensive your treatment will be
– How long it will take and what appliances are needed
– If we need to do full braces or partial braces
– Whether you choose metal or clear braces or if you choose to go with clear aligners or inside braces
– Fees may be incurred along the way if appliances are lost or repeatedly broken.
This is on a case by case basis and would be discussed before any additional fees are incurred.
Remember, practices differ in many ways such as quality and experience of the doctor, service and results, communication, flexibility of appointments, access and technology and equipment. Make sure you are comparing ‘Apples’ with ‘Apples’ and not ‘Apples’ with ‘Bananas’. Do your homework.
Payment plans
At WAO we offer an interest free, fully flexible and easy to use payment plan system that allows you to pay in instalments over time rather than in one lump sum payment. This system allows us to allocate a flexible payment plan that best suits your needs.
Health Funds
Initial consultation fees come under general dental cover with your private health fund but you will need to discuss with your health fund regarding any benefits for orthodontic treatment.
We recommend that you contact your health fund and find out if you are eligible for any rebate benefits and the best way to go about claiming those benefits before commencing treatment.
Although we do not deal directly with the health fund we are more than happy to tailor payment plans to assist you in getting the maximum benefit from your health fund.
Remember, you do not need a referral from your dentist to see Dr Sanjivan Kandasamy.
